Reed Hadley struck the perfect balance between the foppish Don Diego and the dashing Zorro like no other, and it has some of the best stunts EVER performed, I forget which episode has the one with the stagecoach, but you will watch the scene over and over again in slo-mo just to see how truly f'n INSANE it is, Yakama Canutt(?) is the Jimi Hendrick of stunt work, no-one like him before or since. I grew up watching most of the Republic serials and would LOVE to see more of them up here. Jungle Girl or King Of The Rocketmen next please.

The stunts, the masked hero and the whole Golden God mystery are genuinely fun. It even puts some modern westerns to shame.
